Welcome to Record Shop City

wilson_quoteThey still do, and 'kids' of all ages should be pleasantly surprised at just how many places in this city they can still buy records from. So this is our one-stop guide to the fantastic record shops of Greater Manchester, from the 'Vinyl Valley' that is Oldham Street in the Northern Quarter, to the windswept streets of Bolton, Lancashire. Browse the menu on the right hand side and go shopping! Contact Us and tell us what you think. Please enjoy the site and Support your local record shops. Or if you haven't got any local record shops, come to Manchester and support ours. Tony Wilson quote & image used with kind permission of the Wilson family. I used to work at Robinsons Records on Blackfriars Street in Manchester between 1976 - 1981 in the singles department and if anyone is old enough to remember going there around that period then please contact me so we can swap memories.
cheers Mike
