Just around the corner from Oldham Street you’ll find Vinyl Revival, which sells a mixture of new and secondhand records on CD and Vinyl, plus DVDs.  The small but well-stocked shop specialises in Manchester music and a good 60% of the floorspace is dedicated to local bands from the 60s to the present day. Collectors of the Factory Records Label will find plenty to drool over here, including some original Factory posters on the wall which are just to look at, they’re not for sale!

They also do a fine line in reproduction posters, T-shirts and other memorabilia so if you’re looking for a  Hacienda poster or a New Order, Stone Roses or Smiths T-Shirt as a fantastic souvenir of your trip to Manchester look no further. There is Plenty of Punk, Reggae, Soul, Rock, Hip Hop, Electro, House and 50′s and 60′s stuff too.

Those ‘try before you buy’ types are advised that the shop has a turntable for you to test out vinyl.
